Who We Are?
AgriDev is an independent Beirut based consultancy firm founded in 2017 by a team of agricultural and socio- economic experts with a shared passion for helping rural producers, and over 15 years of project development and implementation experience in the MENA region.
Our goal extends beyond the founder’s enthusiasm to a mission focused on strengthening cooperation and partnership among agribusiness value chain actors in order to boost their livelihoods toward increased efficiency, competitiveness, and resilience to climate change. AgriDev promotes nature-based solutions that contribute to decent jobs, the sustainability of natural resources, and better coping and adaptation mechanisms to prevent migration, food insecurity, and conflict.
The expertise of AgriDev encompasses a range of activities related to agriculture. These include conducting and designing agriculture strategies, performing technical field assessments such as market analysis, value chain analysis, needs assessments, and damage assessments. AgriDev initiates and trains producers’ cooperatives, monitors and evaluates livelihood projects, designs curriculum and provide capacity building programs, undertakes feasibility studies, develops local brands, and carries out national outreach activities through customized vulnerability assessments.
