Creal commissioned AgriDev to facilitate field work and implementation of a research program. The scope included:
- Review and update the system view of the agro-food sector in Lebanon (3 stakeholders’ workshops)
- Develop a stakeholder engagement plan (including participants from MOA, private sector, research institutions, cooperatives, wholesale markets, etc.), map current agriculture programs, and define criteria for prioritization of problems to be addressed
- Discuss the impact and feasibility of the main priorities and needed resources (2 stakeholders’ workshops and 20 KIIS)
- Validate the final priorities with key stakeholders
- Design, develop, and validate a dynamic action plan for interventions including final report writing
